The day will start with a welcome briefing in a lovely local cafe, where we will discuss the day’s menu over some home baked pastries and a cup of coffee. Than it’s off to the local markets in order to buy the seasonal fresh ingredients needed for preparation of the dishes. Trogir market is truly a feast for all the senses: colors, sounds, scents, the incredible array of fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices displayed on stalls by local vendors. You will experience a typical locals’ morning at the market, learning how to select the best Dalmatian vegetables and the freshest fish and seafood. After having chosen the ingredients, we will head to our chef’s home to prepare an authentic Dalmatian meal. You will have the cooking class in the outdoor kitchen of the typical stone house in the heart of Trogir. You’ll be taught to prepare a three course meal, including dessert, according to traditional local recipes. At the end of your cooking class you will enjoy the delicious meal you have prepared accompanied by some great local wine.
